A hometown standout from Joliet Catholic Academy in Joliet, Illinois, Alstott went on to become a Purdue football legend before spending his entire NFL career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. At Purdue, he became the first player in school history to earn team MVP honors three consecutive seasons and finished his college career as the Boilermakers' all-time leading rusher.
Known around the football world as the "A-Train," Alstott became one of the NFL's most dominant and recognizable fullbacks. He was selected to six Pro Bowls, earned four All-Pro selections, and helped lead the Buccaneers to their first Super Bowl championship in Super Bowl XXXVII. He remains Tampa Bay's all-time leader in touchdowns with 71 and rushing touchdowns with 58.
