A four-year standout for the Xavier Musketeers, Bluiett became one of the most decorated players in program history. He finished his Xavier career with 2,261 points, ranking second on the school's all-time scoring list, along with 762 rebounds and a school-record 319 made three-pointers.
Bluiett was a three-time First Team All-BIG EAST selection from 2016 through 2018, becoming just the 13th player in conference history to earn the honor three times. As a senior, he was a consensus Second Team All-American after averaging 19.3 points per game and helping lead Xavier to its first-ever BIG EAST regular-season championship and a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
Known for his scoring ability and deep shooting range, Bluiett helped Xavier reach the NCAA Tournament in each of his four seasons, including the 2017 Elite Eight. His 105 three-pointers during the 2017-18 season remain a Xavier single-season record.
